Environmental Regulatory Action

The Environmental Regulatory Action Committee reports to the board-level Government Relations Policy Committee and the Operations Section Managing Committee. The Environmental Regulatory Action Committee is vested with AGA board authority to take action on behalf of AGA’s membership to improve federal environmental law, rules and policies.

To accomplish its mission, the committee prepares written comments, provides technical rationale for positions taken by the industry, testifies if needed, recommends litigation to the general counsel’s office, and coordinates with the Legislative Committee regarding environmental legislation.
