Membership Services

To provide direction and priorities for the programs and services offered by the various AGA sections and committees (Operating Section; Strategic Marketing; Finance and Administration; Gas Transportation & Supply Operations Committee). To identify new AGA services and review existing services and programs. To provide liaison with the sections and committees. To direct the annual survey of the membership and assist AGA in implementation of the survey results with regards to association programs and services.

Committee Organization

The Membership Services Committee will be comprised of 15-20 AGA Board members. The committee leadership will consist of a chairman serving a two-year term. 

Benefits of Committee Membership

Participation on this committee affords AGA Board members with the opportunity to provide direct oversight and to get directly involved with the activities carried out through the AGA committee structure.

Products and Services

Through its annual review of committee/section activities, the Membership Services Committee ensures that these activities are in line with AGA’s mission.  This is also accomplished through the annual membership satisfaction survey.

Interaction with other AGA Committees/Outside Organizations

Member will interact with other board-level committees, as well as all the committees in the various AGA sections.

Meetings

The committee meets in conjuction with AGA board meetings.
