Natural Gas Security

  1. To provide a forum for the identification, development and communication of innovative and cost effective security solutions for the natural gas industry.
  2. To provide insight on physical infrastructure security related pursuits by AGA operating, government relations and regulatory affairs sections.
  3. To investigate new technologies as related to infrastructure protection.
  4. To sponsor programs, papers and presentations within the energy industry at related technical symposiums.
  5. To develop and publish committee reports and technical papers and provide liaison with and encourage liaison from appropriate national and international industry groups, professional associations and other committees for the exchange of information and technical assistance relative to infrastructure protection.
  6. To establish common ground for the promotion and development of viable external relationships with governmental agencies, public law enforcement, and emergency response organizations.

Meetings

This committee meets twice per year.  Held in conjunction with EEI Security Committee meeting.
