Technology Advisory Council
The Technology Advisory Council provides a forum for senior level information technology (IT) executives from the AGA member companies to keep abreast of emerging strategic information technology and business issues that impact the energy industry. With the increased presence of technology issues in corporate board rooms, along with increasing IT issues in the advocacy area, the Council will serve as the strategic IT arm for the AGA Board of Directors.

Benefits Of Council Membership
Forum and network for technology leaders in the energy industry to keep abreast of developing IT business issues. The Council will serve as a point of reference when industry positions are needed for those issues. In a vendor neutral setting, provides practical information on the value of new and emerging technology through presentations of case studies highlighting the successful application of such technologies.

Spring and Fall meetings, SOS Program

Joint committee with Edison Electric Institute Information Technology Committee, Customer Activities Committee.
Meetings
A one day committee meeting is held in June in conjunction with the EEI Annual Meeting. A one day committee meeting is held in October, typically sponsored by a technology vendor.
