The AGA Operating Section consists of over a dozen technical committees, including but not limited to, gas measurement, safety, environment, storage, engineering, construction and maintenance, gas control, supplemental gas, corrosion control, infrastructure security, and plastic materials. These committees are comprised of the leading gas operations management professionals in their field from across North America. The Fall Operating Section Technical Committee Meetings is a convergence of these folks (generally 400+ individuals) for the purposes of technology transfer, roundtable discussion, topical presentations, the sharing of company practices and networking. The information received and the professional relationships established serve as invaluable resources for improving the committee member’s gas operations.

In conjunction with the 2012 Fall Meetings will be an AGA/EEI Workplace Violence Prevention Workshop, a SCADA Cybersecurity Workshop (sponsored by U.S. DOE NSTB), and the highly-regarded annual AGA Safety Summit. Agendas for these events as well as the fall meetings will be posted by the end of July.
