The AGA Legal Forum is an intensive two-day seminar that gives participants the opportunity for in-depth discussion of gas industry issues with other member company general counsel and senior attorneys. The Thirty-Sixth Annual Legal Forum will focus on the impact of the changes taking place in the industry and the new legal challenges facing you and your clients.
The Forum will feature presentations and panel discussions on topics of vital interest to natural gas industry attorneys. As you know, the Forum also provides a unique opportunity for informal discussions with other gas industry general counsel and attorneys.
The following topics are scheduled for discussion at this year’s Legal Forum:
Recent Federal Regulatory Issues Impacting LDCs (FERC, CFTC, EPA);
Federal and State Pipeline Safety Issues:
Cybersecurity Role of General Counsels;
Rate Recovery of Infrastructure and Safety Costs;
LDC General Liability Issues; and
Other Topics of Interest to LDC General Counsel and Other Industry Attorneys
The Forum will be held this year from Sunday evening, July 14, through Tuesday, July 16, at the Newport Marriott in Newport, Rhode Island. The Newport Marriott hotel is situated in the heart of historic Newport with a stunning waterfront location and easy access to the city’s legendary attractions including the Cliff Walk and the famed Newport Mansions. As an added convenience, the hotel is just 40 minutes from Providence's TF Green Airport (27 miles) and 70 miles from Boston.
