AGA's FERC Regulatory Committee will present the Sixth Annual Energy Market Regulation Conference on Thursday, October 3, 2013, at the Princeton Club of New York, 15 West 43rd Street, New York, New York 10036. This conference keeps members and industry professionals up-to-date on the activities of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission as they affect physical and financial natural gas markets. The conference will begin at 9:00 a.m. and is scheduled to conclude by 6:15 p.m.
The opening address will be given by the Honorable Bart Chilton of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and the Honorable Cheryl A. LaFleur of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission will be the luncheon speaker.
Presentation topics will include: financial market regulation and compliance, shale gas development, gas market fundamentals, gas-electric coordination, pipeline rate issues, regulation of LNG exports, effective compliance programs, and FERC enforcement policy.
