Emergency Preparedness Workshop & Emergency Response Roundtable - July 15-18, 2008

Open to AGA Best Practices Program Participants Only

The Emergency Response Roundtable is scheduled to begin Tuesday, July 15, 2008 with the Emergency Preparedness Workshop.  The Emergency Preparedness Workshop will include a trip to We Energies for a presentation on lessons learned from a recent incident in which they lost 1,800 customers during the winter.  Following the Emergency Preparedness Workshop, the Emergency Response Roundtable will commence on July 16 with an overview of the AGA Operations Best Practices Program followed by company presentations.

During the general session, top-performing companies will give presentations on specific processes and practices that have contributed to their outstanding operational performance.  Following the company presentations, meeting attendees will assemble with their respective breakout groups for hands-on group discussions to identify challenges and discuss the best practices to address those challenges.  The roundtables will conclude with a best practices summary presentation from each breakout group.  The meeting is scheduled to adjourn on Thursday, July 17, 2008 at 5:00 p.m.
