Rate Committee Meeting & Regulatory Issues Seminar

The next AGA Rate Committee Meeting and Regulatory Issues Seminar will be held March 9-12, 2008, at The Yarrow Resort Hotel & Conference Center, in Park City, Utah.  The seminar is jointly sponsored by the AGA State Regulatory Committee and the Rate Committee. 

The seminar and meeting will begin with registration and a reception on Sunday, March 9, at 6:00 pm.  Presentations will begin Monday morning, March 10, at 8:00 am.  In addition to the welcome reception, there will be a group dinner on Monday, another reception on Tuesday, and for those who can come early, an informal ski outing on Saturday, March 8.  If you are interested in skiing, please select this option on the registration form and once the arrangements have been finalized, you will be notified by e-mail.

The leadership of the two committees has assembled a strong program agenda as well as some interesting social events.  Headlining the agenda are Commissioner Don Mason of Ohio, chair of the NARUC Committee on Gas, Commissioner Ron Allen of Utah, NARUC Gas Committee Member, and Chairman Ted Boyer of the Utah Public Service Commission.  The commissioners will speak about climate change, energy efficiency, the global economy, gas supply planning, and consumer issues – in short – all the issues that natural gas rate and regulatory managers deal with every day. 

Participation in the Rate Committee Meeting and Regulatory Issues Seminar is open to ALL employees of AGA member companies, including pipeline members and Canadian members, and is NOT LIMITED to members of the two committees.  The Rate Committee’s associate members are also welcome at this event. Spouses and guests of members are welcome to attend the seminar social events.

The registration fee for attending the Rate Committee Meeting  and Regulatory Issues Seminar is $650.
The dress attire is winter business casual.
