John E. Shelk has been President and CEO of the Electric Power Supply Association, the national trade association representing leading competitive electricity suppliers, since 2005. Mr. Shelk is responsible for EPSA’s overall management and strategic direction, including legislative affairs, regulatory policy and public affairs. He served as a counsel to the House Energy and Commerce Committee after which he has held a series of positions in the private sector with increasing responsibility.

Mr. Randall Luthi became President of the National Ocean Industries Association (NOIA) on March 1, 2010. Mr. Luthi served as the Director of the Minerals Management Service (MMS) at DOI from July 2007 through January 2009. Mr. Luthi oversaw offshore lease sales and collection and distribution to the States and Federal government of mineral revenues and royalties. He also oversaw the expansion of a renewable energy office at MMS, which manages development of wind, wave and current energy in the U.S. oceans.

Mr. Armstrong became president and chief executive officer of Williams in January 2011. Previously he served as President of Williams’ Midstream business unit and olefins businesses in Canada and the United States. Additionally, Armstrong serves as chairman of the board and chief executive officer for Williams Partners L.P. (NYSE:WPZ), the master limited partnership that owns most of Williams’ gas pipeline and domestic midstream assets.

Commissioner Cheryl A. LaFleur was nominated by President Barack Obama to serve as a member of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and confirmed by the U.S. Senate for a term that ends in June 2014.
Commissioner LaFleur has more than 20 years experience as a leader in the electric and natural gas industry. Commissioner LaFleur is a frequent speaker on energy issues, particularly reliability and grid security, transmission planning, and enabling clean energy resources. She is a member of the NARUC Committees on Electricity and Critical Infrastructure.

Mr. Wright is the Director of the Office of Energy Projects at FERC and has been a member of the Office of Energy Projects since its inception in 2000. Previously, Mr. Wright joined the Commission in 1979 and served as project manager on many applications to site natural gas pipelines and storage facilities.

Mr. Gray is the former Ambassador to the European Union (2006-2007) and former Special Envoy for Eurasian Energy Diplomacy (2008-2009). He also served as former Special Envoy for European Union Affairs (2008-2009) and as White House Counsel in the administration of President George H.W. Bush (1989-1993).
