Understanding the size and diversity of U.S. natural gas reserves is a fundamental underpinning for evaluating U.S. production capability and thus the natural gas industry’s ability to serve customers of all types. Extraordinary positive trends in U.S. natural gas production and proved reserves growth have existed in the United States for the past seven years and reserves today are near their highest in U.S. history.
