PHMSA Issued DIMP Proposed Rule

PHMSA’s Notice of Proposed Rule Making (NOPR) for Distribution Integrity Management (DIMP) was published in today’s Federal Register. Upon initial review, AGA is pleased to report that the overall approach and most of the proposed requirements are very consistent with the DIMP Phase 1 Report and the American Gas Foundation study. This underscores the importance of industry’s efforts in these past endeavors.

PHMSA is planning on issuing a series of webcasts that can be accessed from its website, in lieu of public meetings. AGA will send information regarding the webcast once it is up on the PHMSA website.
