AGA’s natural gas utility members are focused on addressing EPA requirements and public concerns regarding asbestos and coal tar wrap. AGA endeavors to educate all interested parties on the types of pipeline and gas utility projects that can involve pipe wrap and how pipe wrap is removed. AGA has worked with its members to develop guidelines and share assessments completed during coal tar wrap removal.
