On September 8, 2011, the full House Transportation and Infrastructure (T&I) Committee reported out on an unanimous voice vote for their pipeline safety bill, H.R. 2845. Only one amendment from Congressman Shuster was adopted. Congressman's Shuster's amendment modified provisions of the bill that prohibited DOT from issuing regulations for the Integrity Management Program and leak detection. A few other amendments were offered and withdrawn. The Shuster and withdrawn amendments are included below along with the draft bill:
