This pipeline safety bill was introduced by Senators Lautenberg and Rockefeller on February 3, 2011. Both Democratic and Republican staff of the Senate Commerce Committee have worked cooperatively on this bill. AGA believes this bill is a positive first step in the process of getting a final pipeline safety bill finalized in the Senate.
