 Infrastructure Cost Recovery Mechanisms Updated (January 2012 ) 

This updated AGA report descirbes rate designs and structures that allow recovery of the incremental costs of replacement pipeline investments.  Currently, nearly 50 utiilties in 20 states serving 22 million residential natural gas customers are using full or limited special rate mechanisms to recover their replacement infrastructure investments.  In addition, the rpeort descirbes the rate stablization tariffs used by 14 utilities in 7 states to recover new and replacement pipeline investments.
