Natural Gas Meeting Future Energy Needs

AGA and its natural gas utility members work with EPA and other interested stakeholders to address polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) in pipeline systems.  Requirements for PCB processing, distribution, use, storage and disposal are established by EPA.  AGA works with members and leading experts to educate all stakeholders on the presence of PCBs in natural gas pipelines, recent technology changes and updated health and environmental assessments.  This page includes comments filed by AGA and USWAG (Utility Solid Waste Activities Group), information provided by EPA, AGA alerts and recent studies.

If you would like more information regarding AGA's work on PCBs, please contact Pam Lacey, AGA's Environmental Senior Managing Counsel, Environment.
