 EPA e-Manifest Webinar 1: Lessons Learned from Multi-State e-Manifest Pilot Study (April 22, 2009)

On April 22, 2009 EPA held a webinar to review the multi-state e-Manifest Pilot Study.  Environmental regulatory agencies in the states of Michigan, Massachusetts, Minnesota, and New Jersey were awarded an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Challenge Grant to develop a pilot, multi-state manifest tracking system that utilizes key technologies of the Environmental Information Exchange Network.  The resulting pilot system demonstrates potential electronic tracking and management capabilities of hazardous waste manifests from the original generation of the identified waste to its ultimate disposal.  This webinar reviewed a November 2008 user meeting, the follow up discussion with users and pilot study analysis from Michigan DEQ'S Michael Beaulac and Windsor Solution's Jason Bunker.
