 EPA Proposed Rule to Extend SPCC Deadline by One Year (Jan. 9, 2003) 

On January 9, 2003 the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) published a proposed rule to the Federal Register proposing to extend the dates for a facility to amend its Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plan, and implement the amended Plan by one year.  EPA proposed this extension to prevent the flood of individual extension requests that EPA would otherwise receive.
