On May 20, 2010 the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee’s Subcommittee on Railroads, Pipelines, and Hazardous Materials held a hearing to begin the reauthorization process for the 2006 PIPES Act. This hearing is titled “Implementation of the Pipeline Inspection, Protection, Enforcement and Safety Act of 2006 and Reauthorization of the Pipeline Safety Program” and included testimony from AOPL, AGA, NUCA, NAPSR, PHMSA, INGAA and the Pipeline Safety Trust.
