Membership Specialist

The American Gas Association is seeking a Specialist, Membership to join our Membership & Strategic Development Team. 

As a member of AGA’s Membership and Strategic Development Team, the Specialist will play an integral role in the support of current and prospective AGA members. This individual will maintain netFORUM database, manage the team budget, and collaborate with staff across the organization to stay abreast of AGA programs, events and projects.

A successful candidate has experience in administrative and meeting support, strong communication skills, and has worked in a membership environment with database management. The ability to travel (when public health conditions permit), and a desire to live and work from the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area are critical for this role.

AGA employees currently have the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely. The employee’s team determines one day each week, and the employee determines the others. The American Gas Association requires all staff to pass a background check, sign an arbitration agreement, and show proof of COVID-19 vaccination as a condition of employment.
