Senior Market and Regulatory Analyst

AGA is seeking a Senior Market and Regulatory Analyst to join the AGA Energy Analysis team. The Senior Market and Regulatory Analyst will identify and advance high-impact gas utility market and regulatory insights and solutions. This individual will coordinate and collaborate across the Association to evaluate, inform, and communicate key issues related to natural gas market fundamentals and gas utility regulatory policy initiatives. Depending on skills and experience, this individual may also collaborate on industry-wide initiatives related to methane emissions, renewable natural gas, hydrogen, advanced gas technologies, and other issues relevant to the Association’s advocacy.

The AGA Energy Analysis team provides insights and analysis to key areas of focus for the Association, including energy market fundamentals, industry and economic data, financial performance, gas supply and demand developments, winter heating season planning, energy efficiency, greenhouse gas emissions, and other environmental topics. The Energy Analysis team works within the broader and multi-disciplinary Energy Markets, Analysis, and Standards (EMAS) team to advance awareness of the vital role natural gas and natural gas infrastructure plays for consumers and the economy today and to position the long-term value of these gas resources and infrastructure to meet and accelerate bold and ambitious environmental goals. A successful candidate has a bachelor's degree in physics, engineering, economics, public policy, or another relevant discipline.
