AGA has determined that third-party certification of Schedule 40 steel pipe is not justified nor necessary to help ensure a safe gas piping system when installed in accordance with ANSI Z223.1/NFPA 54, National Fuel Gas Code, 2016. The 2015 National Fuel Gas Code is currently under revision which will result in the 2018 Edition to be published in the Fall of 2017.
