Pipeline Safety Management Systems Workshop

AGA has scheduled a Pipeline Safety Management Systems Workshop for April 12 and 13 at the Omni Jacksonville Hotel in Jacksonville, FL. This workshop will feature presentations and case studies from pipeline operators, regulators, and service providers. Presentations will focus on information about pipeline safety management systems and their implementation. Regulators, pipeline operators, and service providers are all invited to participate in this forum.

Presentations and discussions will focus on key issues such as:

*         Concepts included in API 1173, Recommended Practice for Pipeline Safety Management Systems
*         Implementation strategies including performance metrics and maturity models
*         Regulatory expectations including recordkeeping

Planned presenters include representatives from the following:

*         PHMSA
*         NAPSR
*         Service Providers
*         Gas companies

The 2016 workshop had more than 100 attendees.  Plan to attend the 2017 workshop for up to date information and new presentations.
