This course addresses advanced rate design and regulatory topics related to utility infrastructure, energy efficiency, cost recovery, and alternatives to traditional cost of service ratemaking. Strategic management of a gas distribution utility’s rate case is the ultimate goal of the course.
Taught by recognized experts in the field, this program uses guided experiential learning techniques to present the material. The program is sponsored by the Center for Business and Regulation in the College of Business and Management at the University of Illinois Springfield. The course is held at the Discovery Partners Institute.
As in past years the Advanced Rates and Regulatory Issues Course is all electronic. All participants should bring a laptop or other device for reading electronic documents. The Center will make the material available electronically to all attendees.
