Event Overview

On Friday, March 4, 2022, American Gas Association 2022 Chair Kimberly S. Greene, Chairman, President and CEO of Southern Company Gas, will make the annual AGA/natural gas industry presentation to the CFA Society of New York. Kim’s presentation will focus on the overall outlook for natural gas utilities, plus address such topics as pipeline safety, the role of natural gas in a clean energy future, growth opportunities, greenhouse gas emissions and the investment strength of the energy utility sector. She will also unveil a new study, “Net-Zero Emissions Opportunities for Gas Utilities,” which details how American’s natural gas utilities will be essential to meeting our nation’s greenhouse gas emissions reduction goals, including achieving net-zero emissions. Joining Kim will be Karen Harbert, AGA’s President and CEO, who will provide a Washington, DC update and address key legislative/regulatory proposals at the federal and state level.

The presentation to the New York financial community will be held virtually via livestream.
