Event Overview

Gas utilities around the world are evaluating blending hydrogen into the natural gas grid as a means to reduce greenhouse emissions. However, due to the physical and chemical property differences between hydrogen and natural gas, there are several operational concerns associated with hydrogen blending such as leak detection, purging, corrosion, and system integrity. This webinar will discuss what some utilities are doing in relation to hydrogen-blending in their natural gas systems, the operational challenges and concerns that exist, and some potential solutions.
