Peter Gilligan, PhD, is the Professor of Microbiology-Immunology and Pathology-Laboratory Medicine at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and the Director of the Clinical Microbiology-Immunology Laboratories at the University of North Carolina Hospitals. Dr. Gilligan is a member of the Center for Infectious Diseases at UNC and has over four decades of experience in his field. The topics to be covered are applicable to all operators regardless of whether your service territory is in the upward end of the curve, has already plateaued, is on the downward end of the curve, or has been spared entirely.
