Jun 20, 2022 – Jun 22, 2022
Columbus, OH

50th Anniversary Celebration (50 + 2 = 52 Years)

Every five years the GPTC celebrates its accomplishments with an anniversary celebration.  This anniversary marks the GPTC’s 50th year. However, due to the Pandemic the July 2020 50th Anniversary Celebration was canceled. Good News: We are happy to announce the 50th Anniversary will be held on June 21, 2022, at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. The 50th Anniversary celebration will include a reception and dinner.

About the Gas Piping Technology Committee

The Gas Piping Technology Committee is an ANSI Accredited Standards Committee (ASC) designated as GPTC/Z380 which maintains and develops ANSI Z380.1, Guide for Gas Transmission, Distribution, and Gathering Piping Systems (Guide). The Committee’s approximately 100 members include persons with expertise from the natural gas transmission, distribution, and manufacturing fields as well as from federal and state regulatory agencies. The Committee’s primary purpose is to develop and approve Guide Material that is incorporated into the Guide and its addendum.  The committee also offers its members the opportunity to share technical expertise at its three annual meetings.
