The AGA Construction Operations Committee is hosting a webinar on Best Practices in Stakeholder Engagement. This online event will discuss the importance of actively involving and listening to external stakeholders, which is crucial for a project’s success. Projects have set plans, budgets, and timelines, but external stakeholders, who view projects from different perspectives, can influence the outcomes. It’s vital for utilities to listen to the various demands and interests of these stakeholders. Regulatory bodies also emphasize the importance of engaging with stakeholders and may scrutinize permitting approvals and rate cases if utilities need to demonstrate active engagement.
