Nancy Moon serves as the Vice President of Membership and Strategic Development for the American Gas Association (AGA). In this role, Moon directs membership engagement and strengthens corporate partnerships. She works closely with AGA’s CEO, Leadership Team, and Board of Directors to advance the association’s strategic initiatives and support key governance activities.
Prior to joining AGA, Moon served as Senior Vice President of Member Relations and Deputy Corporate Secretary at the American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI). During her tenure, she led association-wide strategic planning, governance, and consensus building. She also drove high-impact initiatives – including the ACLI Capital Challenge road race and oversaw the Membership, Conference Development, and Compliance & Regulatory Affairs teams.
Moon’s extensive experience includes leading board governance, expanding member engagement through leadership programs, and designing new revenue streams that align member value with organizational priorities.
A native New Yorker, Moon received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and minor in Public Administration from the State University of New York-Geneseo. She lives in Chevy Chase, MD, with her husband and two children.
