2021 Financial Forum – Wrap Up

Last week, senior officers from the gas utility industry, representing two-thirds of the American Gas Association’s (AGA) publicly traded member companies, met with the financial community virtually at the industry’s premier financial event – the 2021 AGA Financial Forum.

Through a series of company presentations and one-on-one meetings, securities analysts, institutional investors, portfolio managers, rating agency representatives and bankers had an opportunity to meet with AGA member company CEOs, CFOs, Treasurers and IROs.

This year’s Forum attracted over 425 attendees. The keynote address included a discussion about the role for natural gas in a clean energy future with Former FERC Commissioner Bernie McNamee, AGA Chair David Anderson and AGA President, Karen Harbert. A second session also featured a regulatory dialogue with Paul Kjellander, President of NARUC and President of Idaho Public Utilities Commission and Jim Huston, Chairman, Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission.

Next year’s Financial Forum is scheduled for May 17-19, 2022 in Miami Beach, FL. Stay tuned for more information on the next event. In the meantime, you can visit our Events page for more events happening in the industry and for members.
