2026 Protecting the Front Line Workshop – Tools and Resources to Keep Workers Safe

This workshop will help attendees develop stronger situational awareness and increase understanding of physical security threats commonly faced by field workers. Participants will receive practical tools and training on how to safely and effectively de-escalate aggressive individuals. The program will also feature a live trench rescue demonstration that is specifically designed for construction crews. The demonstration will showcase proper response techniques in the event a worker becomes trapped in a trench collapse, as well as rescue procedures and safety protocols that can prevent injuries during excavation-related incidents.
