New Year, New Chair 

AGA is kicking off the new year strong with a strong vision from its new Board Chair., Sid McAnnally. McAnnally brings extensive leadership experience in heading up AGA’s board of directors. In his role as President and CEO of ONE Gas, Inc., he leads one of the nation’s premier natural gas distribution companies, with a focus on operational excellence, continuous improvement and community partnership – all values key to AGA, and integral in McAnnally’s vision for the future. 

“Natural gas delivers affordable and reliable energy to families and businesses, supports manufacturing and technology growth and helps to reduce emissions,” said McAnnally. “As artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing and new economic development opportunities drive growing energy needs, natural gas utilities are focused on planning, maintenance and modernization to dependably serve customers.”  

McAnnally continued, “I’m honored to chair AGA’s Board in 2026 and to work with our member companies to strengthen the infrastructure that serves communities and our economy every day. Together, we will continue to advance reliability, affordability and innovation as we meet America’s surging energy needs.”
