AGA Statement After Supreme Court Decided Not to Review D.C. Circuit Decision to Vacate Spire STL Pipelineâs FERC Certificate
Washington, DC – American Gas Association (AGA) President and CEO Karen Harbert released the following statement after the Supreme Court decided not to review the D.C. Circuit’s decision to vacate the Spire STL Pipeline’s Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Certificate:
“AGA is disappointed that the Supreme Court will not review the matter and the precedent the D.C. Circuit’s decision sets for delivering essential energy to American homes and businesses. The fact that the lower court did not fully consider the disruptive consequences of its action on families and businesses in this community that rely on natural gas for affordable and reliable energy for warm meals, hot showers and comfortable homes is very concerning.”
