Final Comments Submitted to Docket – Amendments to Liquefied Natural Gas Facilities (Part 193) ANPRM

AGA co-signed joint Association comments, posted to the docket in response to the Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (ANPRM) published May 5, 2025 related to Amendments to Liquefied Natural Gas Facilities (Part 193). Comments address Congressional mandates described in Section 110 of the PIPES Act 2020 & Section 27 of the PIPES Act 2016, which require PHMSA to promulgate various amendments to minimum safety standards for large-scale LNG facilities (non-peak shaving facilities) and permanent, small scale LNG pipeline facilities. The comments also address adoption of consensus industry standards, deregulatory opportunities, and simplification of PHMSA reporting.
