AGA Files Comments Feb.13 on EPA Methane Standards Seeking Confirmation of LDC Exemption

On February 13, AGA filed comments on EPA’s supplemental notice of proposed rulemaking (SNOPR) regarding methane reduction standards for new and existing sources in the Oil and Natural Gas Source Category. AGA supported EPA’s continuation of the exemption for gas utility operations inside and including the LDC custody transfer station, and we asked EPA to state the exemption explicitly in the applicability section of the rule, in addition to referencing the exemption in the Federal Register notice preamble and background documents.
