AGA’s March 25, 2019 Comments Support EPA Voluntary Gas Star Program
On March 25, 2019, AGA filed comments at EPA and the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB) supporting EPA’s Information Collection Request (ICR) renewal for Natural Gas STAR, a voluntary industry partnership that has helped our members learn about and deploy cost-effective methane reduction measures which have helped reduce methane emissions from natural gas distribution operations across the country by 72 percent since 1990. The current ICR authorization expires March 31, 2019 and must be renewed to allow the continued operation of Gas STAR, including the new Methane Challenge Program. AGA previously submitted comments supporting a similar ICR request for the Methane Challenge Program.
